Latest Frauds & Scams Related Telephone Numbers in the US

phone-scamsFraud harms 25 million people every year – that is nearly 11% of the adult population in the US is affected by some form of fraud every year.

As a value-added service to our clients, HQTelecom is constantly monitoring and compiling a list of telephone numbers reported by victims of various telephone related scams, posted in the Federal Trade Commission, Consumer Protection Blog (source: http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog).

Our Frauds & Scams Phone list contains the telephone numbers associated with the latest major scams and frauds affecting US consumers in the last 6 months.  Currently, there are about 60 phone numbers.  We are updating it constantly to make it easier for our clients to use it.

How can you use this list?

If you own a T-Lock or Pro Call Blocker, you may input these numbers in the memory of your Call Blocker to prevent scam related calls.  This list is not too difficult or time consuming to enter manually into your call blocker and it can prevent potential scams.  Optionally, you may simply print it and use it as reference for screening suspicious phone calls.

How do I get a copy of the 2013 Scam Related Phone numbers:

If you purchased any of our call blocker models, please contact us to request a recent copy of this list.  The list is available in PDF format and it is available exclusively to our clients.

  2. This will come in so useful! I usually do a reverse lookup of a number I don’t know, but even then it doesn’t tell me much information. Just to know that the number is from a scammer is reason enough to get this list and have real peace of mind.
